If you follow us on twitter or Facebook, or made it to our November event you probably are well aware of the level of excitement we have over our new beauty lines that we’ve introduced in the shop for the holidays! This time of year always seem to sneak up and then get very, very busy but in our humble opinion it’s also important to slow down a bit. Taking care of yourself is a founding value of our new organic skin care line Belmondo so to say we feel like it’s a complete meeting of the minds would be an understatement. Every care is taken to create the nourishing products and attention to detail is unparalleled….glass bottles and organic cotton carrying cases truly make you feel like you are having a little experience every time you use your favourite product.

This toner is something I wasn’t sure I would use, and now I can’t live without it! I have sensitive skin and the coolness and soft scent of this toner feels amazing. It is alcohol-free so there isn’t that awful tight face feeling after you use it. Another bonus? It actually can be used as a natural deodorant which means it will be easier to continue to eliminate other chemical-heavy products from my life. If you want to try just one product from the line, After the Rain would be my top pick!

I. love. this. I don’t know what’s up with Vancouver weather sometimes …apparently all it does is rain here (according to the rest of the country) and humidity should be through the roof but somehow my skin can still feel dry! I’ve been pretty generous slathering The Cloud on lately but a little bit goes a long way. I’ve been heaping it on as an excuse to use it as a hand cream during the night as well. Are you seeing the theme here of Belmondo products being multi-purpose?
Travel/Gift set - complete with organic cotton carrier bag
The five piece travel and gift set is probably one of the nicest gifts you could give to someone (or, let’s be honest, to yourself). It comes with five airplane-friendly sized products: The Rain Face Cleanser, After the Rain Face Toner, The Cloud Face Cream, The Dunes Face Exfoliant, The Nectar Hand and Body Butter. This kit has been perfect on a couple of airplane trips (no problems with Security, thank you!) and a road trip. I am a last minute packer and being able to just toss this in my bag and rush out the door is exactly what makes my life easier. The glass containers are light and the organic carrying case keeps everything together. Once I’ve used up a certain product (ahem, After the Rain perhaps) I’ve just purchased the full sized versions and refilled my travel sizes so that I’m always good to go!
Oh, and waking up to this message in the morning doesn’t hurt either…
I hope you fall in love with this line just like I have! The Christmas countdown is ticking, but we can all still take care.
